La Sérénité

The name of this lovely house speaks for itself. Serenely set on the edge of the picture-postcard village of Loze, 9km from Caylus, La Sérénité is the perfect place for a relaxing, getaway from it all holiday.

Originally three cottages built into the original bastide wall, it has been lovingly restored to create a surprisingly spacious four bedroomed house.

Just outside the front door is a delightful patio/dining area that enjoys impressive views over the valley. Through a gated area is a wonderful swimming pool set in a large garden with a spacious open-sided pool house. The views from the pool are nothing short of breathtaking.

Inside, the lounge is well proportioned, and comfortable with stairs that lead up to a lovely kitchen that includes a dining area, dishwasher and plenty of storage space plus, even more views!

Along a landing is the main bathroom with bath and shower and the delightful double bedroom further along has its own balcony. Downstairs is a study area and a spacious, tastefully decorated master bedroom that boasts a private patio and en-suite bathroom.

Across from the study is another bedroom with its own shower room and views across the valley to the hills opposite. Further down to the lower ground floor is the fourth bedroom, again, well proportioned and enjoying its own bathroom with a shower

Parts of this property date back to the 14th century and while very beautiful, uneven stone steps and a low dry stone wall outside could prove hazardous to children under the age of 5 years.

Prices for La Sérénité start at £700 and rise to £1,450 per week in the high season, inclusive of linen and towels.
